About the role
A Senior Data Engineer is required for a permanent hybrid role in the East Midlands, working two days per week on site. The role focuses on Microsoft enterprise data platforms, SQL engineering, Power BI enablement, and dimensional modelling using Kimball methodology.
Key responsibilities
Design and build robust SQL-based data solutions across a Microsoft enterprise data estate.
Develop data models, pipelines, transformations, and reporting-ready datasets.
Support Power BI reporting by creating trusted semantic layers and clean data structures.
Apply Kimball methodology to dimensional modelling, marts, facts, and dimensions.
Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and improve data quality.
Collaborate with analysts, architects, and engineering teams on enterprise data delivery.

Benefits
